I've been to check and all's working well using RC2 (will upgrade soon).

Just a thought : make sure the wysiwyg editor is switched/toggled off

Still no good is there an issue with using on RC3 maybe. emulated RC2 but I think it reverts back to RC3 after logging out.

Used to work fine with RC3, until my post here, suddenly after the images are uploaded it comes back with a 404 error, might be that screenshot dumpster changed its coding.

Seems to be working again :) I have changes to it to point to a file on my server rather than to load the link, that way it no longer posts the thumbnail by default but the full image, also removed all the crap I didn't want people to see.

Best mod for uploading photos full stop!!

I don't know why it doesn't work for me... I'm using SMF 2.0 RC3. In the WYSIWIG editor it does nothing. In the classic editor it adds something like
<a+href="http://imageplay.net/view/m7Gbd74587/starmod"><img+alt="Imageplay.net+-+Free+Image+Hosting"+src="http://imageplay.net/m7Gbd74587/starmod_thumb.jpg"+style="border:0;"/></a>
which of course is not BBC code.

I'm trying the tutorial to customize the popup, everything works fine, but it doesn't put the image code in the message.
After the image is uploaded the popup is getting totally white and theres no code  in the message.
SMF: SMF 1.1.11

Here is my folder structure: public_html/smf/imageupload
I've put both files ssd.htm and ssdInsertCode.html in folder imageupload

The code in post.template.php is:
&nbsp;&bull;&nbsp;<a href="#" onclick="window.open(\'imageupload/ssd.htm','\', \'_screenshotdumpster\', \'resizable=yes,scrollbars=yes,width=550,height=400,
toolbar=no,location=no\');return false;">', $txt['ssdih_add_images_to_post'], '</a>

Also I've changed the code in ssd.htm:
<form action="http://www.screenshotdumpster.com/forum_upload/fsmf2/mysite.nl" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data">

I've tried several folder structures, when Í place everything in the root (public html) I have the same problem
Please tell me what I did wrong, thank you very much

Hi guys,

I'm not the owner of the website anymore hence no updates from me.. Not sure if the new owner will ever update this or not or if he changed anything in the code..

YogiBear

Thanks for letting us know, Crusty. Hopefully either this will be updated or someone will take it on in case any changes are needed for RC4 or 2.0 Gold as it is a brilliant mod.

all that means is you'll have to edit Post.template.php to get it to work.
not a big deal although i have never used or installed this mod.

go to where you downloaded this and use the parser to see what code needs to be added to that file to get it to work.
keep smiling, they'll always wonder what your up too.....
