Link to Mod

Mod that integrates remote image hosting into your SMF forum. Uploaded images are not hosted on your forum, but on remote image hosting website screenshotdumpster.com [nofollow]. When user uploads images, the BBCode for thumbnails is automatically created and inserted into the post the user is typing.
It's that easy!

It says Page not found after hiting upload. Direct upload from the site works.
Today, if you're not confused it means you're not thinking clear!

Page no found after upload means that "ssdInsertCode.html" could not be found. Check if you can access "ssdInsertCode.html" by accessing it directly from your browser. If that works, tell me your forum URL or PM it to me.

Ups my fault. I made the modification with the parser and I didn't notice I have to add a page to my forum.
It works now, but half. I use as default the WYSIWYG editor, and it doesn't insert anything when using it. When using the simple text editor, it puts the code nicely.
Today, if you're not confused it means you're not thinking clear!

CrustyDOD

Oh, didn't even know it has WYSIWYG editor. That's cool.
Yeah, it doesn't work with WYSIWYG cause the field has different id. I'll fix it tomorrow.

Thanks btw!

Added support for 1.1.8 version.

Haven't found a nice solution yet for WYSIWYG editor. Still working on that one..

shumilica

Let me help you a little:
see how this mod managed to separate WYSIWYG editor from the normal:

New update.. Now it should also work if you have WYSIWYG editor turned on.

wandawill

I installed it on my 1.1.8 and I got this message. The other one in this list worked. It looks like a great mod to have. What do I need to do? thanks

You don't have permission to access /bikesnbabes/ssdInsertCode.html on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

CrustyDOD

Can you access "ssdInsertCode.html" from browser?
Check if file "ssdInsertCode.html" is in the forum root folder. If so, check its permissions.

wandawill

this is also in the message.

Thanks for the mod, but it is shrinking all the images, even if I choose to Not Resize  :(

The smaller images are called thumbnails. :) They are created no matter what option you select.
If you click on the thumbnail you will see the full image size.

I have tested all similar mods and ended up in yours !!!!!
Thanks !!  :)

New update: Fixed a small bug that happened on some servers with higher security protection.

Also, from now on you have an option to post original image (original size) instead of thumbnail in your forum. Check under "Additional Options..."

It gives me an error like this after uploading :

Not Found

The requested URL /forum/suara-warga/tampilan-and-tulisan-binprof-kekecilan/ssdInsertCode.html was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Is it because im using pretty url mod and simpleportal or is it because of anything else ? could you help to make it works ?

Hello! thanks for the mod!
but, could there be a option to never create thumbnails, or at least let the Admin set the size of thumbnails, as default for all uploaded images, as the thumbnails are so small that you often cant even see what it should resemble, and having no thumbnail for large images makes the forum "overflow" with the image.
so maybe a option, to say have all images in a maximum 480x480px at all times (or something the Admin could set their selves), create thumbnails if they are larger than that ( for example a 1980x1200 image would be posted as 480x300px if the maximum image setting is 480px) , and no thumbnail if the image is smaller than the threshold.
