There hasn't been a word on the Drupal conversion that you said you'd look into. I assume that's not happening?

Hi,
I'm looking for a converter from joomlaboard 1.1.2 Stable to SMF 1.1 RC3. I've tried using the one for the simpleboard but with no success.

best regards!

Is there a possibility of a dcforum converter in the future?   Its a php/mysql based forum that has gone out of security updates.

hxxp:68.164.219.158/dc/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=345 [nonactive]

I can get you a dump of some type if you like

Unless they give you the data files, you probably won't be able to convert.

If you can provide us with a database dump, we should be able to make one for you. I'm not aware of anyone even working on a Drupal converter at the moment (but we're also busy trying to fix problems with existing converters as well).

Have you talked to Orstio or Kindred? They're the Joomla experts around here so they might be able to help you out.

A database dump would be helpful.

Hi Oldiesmann,
no I haven't asked Orstio or Kindred. Their signatures tell that they don't want any questions about support?

Hi there,

I desperately need the code in the converter already on this site for eBlah v.9-SMF to be updated to eBlah v.10-SMF. The developers made some changes in the database for v.10 and so the converter no longer works.  :(

I can provide a database from my eBlah forum if that helps and can donate $20 towards the time needed to update the PHP conversion script.

I have already installed SMF 1.1 RC3 on my server and have eBlah v.10.X installed on the same server so am ready to go when you are. As soon as the posts (2000+) are ported over I can get my community up and running on my installation of SMF.

Thanks for your help.

EDIT: To anyone reading this in the future, Oldiesmann updated the converter for me over the weekend and the converter should now be available either in the converters section or by searching the site.

Email me a database dump to [email protected].  I'll look at it when ever I get time.

I have a bit of experience with wBB, and will probably need something to do on Thanksgiving, so if you can send a db dump and a copy of the software I'll see what I can do.

Converter Name: YaPP (Yet another PHP Portal)
Converter Website: The YaPP website no longer exists, as the forum is obsolete and no longer supported. The developer has a blog here:
http://www.blogger.com/profile/3310746

I have already started a thread about this, in which I tried to use the YaBB SE converter (YaPP is based on YaBB SE 1.5.0).
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=93611.0

Since it didn't work, I'd like to ask if it is possible to create a converter for YaPP.
I would place my signature right here if I had one. Since I don't, please visit Poasters Computer Forums
