So I imagine the gap between RC3 and 1.1 Final won't be too long?It really depends. If we don't get a lot of bug reports then it shouldn't be too long. However if we do get a lot of bug reports then we'll have to fix them.

Quote from: Thantos on August 22, 2006, 12:04:24 AMUpdate is to go from the previous version to the latest version in the same branch. So SMF 1.1 RC2 to RC3 you can use the update package.Upgrade is to go from a previous branch or older versions of the same branch. So SMF 1.0.x to SMF 1.1 RC3 would use the Upgrade. When in doubt you can always use the upgrade package.
Quote* Added a (manual) method by which the auto-news from SMF can be disabled. (Admin, ManageSmileys, Packages, Themes templates)
QuoteSMF 1.1 RC3 - update zip tar.gz tar.bz2 419Update package from the previous version, except when you have mods installed. You can use the upgrade package too, but it's larger.Use this if you have SMF 1.1 RC3 installed. Remember to run upgrade.php, and if you're not using English get the new language files.
