Are there any particular (known) mods which (I just get this big feeling that IF I uninstall it its not going to go back in again) the PRO gallery is not compatible with?

Not that I know of.  The gallery edits as few files as possible so it should work with nearly any mods. Just adds a button in the default theme, some new permissions, and adds an action in the index.php file.

nevermind..
found problem.as it was a manual install the part the code that needs to be edited into the index.template.php was interupted.
copy/paste doesnt worked as it should.

Guys, i have big problem with this... Everything works perfect, but when i click on thumb image, i am getting this error:

Not Acceptable

An appropriate representation of the requested resource /index.php could not be found on this server.

I don't know where is problem, and why it happens.

as i recall,thats because of mod_security.
you have to contact your host for that.

not sure if this is "a problem"

running 1.1.4 default theme.
gallery installed and working fine.

however on checking my error log today, find that someone has been trying to pass url redirects via the htmlcode box i have showing on pictures.
they have even logged off and back on again to change their ip address, and tried it again.

ive looked around the concerned pictures and cannot see any changes in the html link code.
imhoping you will inform me that, the process is safe and that redirects or writing direct to the database cannot be done???

EDIT: on further inspection on the error log it looks like they have followed the link (as a guest) to view the gallery, and used a website link as their "id" in the browser url.

This is a great mod, saw it on someone else's site, and wanted to integrate it into my own. Ran the install, and got a test failed:

2.     Execute Modification     ./Themes/default/languages/Modifications.english-utf8.php     Test failed

Anyway to figure out what part of that failed?

It can fail on that file as long as it works on modifications.english.php and your forum's language is set to just english.

I can't install any packages...
Neither can I install this one.
Time after time the step to correctly fill in my FTP-information makes me get stuck.
When I click "Apply mod" this shows up:

Some of the files the package manager needs to modify are not writable. This needs to be changed by logging into FTP and using it to chmod or create the files and folders. Your FTP information may be temporarily cached for proper operation of the package manager.

I know how to chmod the files, but why doesn't it tell me which files to chmod?

it would probably refer to the files in /packages folder as that is where it is trying to install
