As the original poster of this thread it is nice to see it is still getting discussed.I have gone the route of using jtips with  joomla runnig it.It is not what I wanted but better then nothing at this point.Still have my fingers crossed that somebody comes up with something that will work with the shop mod. Thanks to all that help code this stuff for us that are not as talented.

Yea I couldn't tell you, but I have made an extremely crappy bet item for SMF Shop, basically I have resorted to doing betting by hand once in awhile. Someone please make this mod, also I would be willing to help, however I'm rather crappy with php.

I'm not much into sports but this does seem like it would be a great mod, with many uses beyond the traditional sports games.

Probably would be a great mod, but it seems to be a very advanced mod so it would require a whole lot of work, not to mention steady follow-up with support and fixes. For those of you who want this mod so badly, I suggest you propose a small reward in cash to whoever decides to make it. Find out how many people who are willing to chip in 1-10$ or so, then see if anyone is willing to do the work.

Also, to whoever might decide to make this mod: It would be wise to ask the for original author's
permission, regardless of whether or not you're planning to use any of his code.

Hows about we all drop in 10 dollars each to who ever agrees to make this mod, that way theres more chance that this actually will get coded?

I mean if like 10 - 20 people agree to spare 10 dollars , then thats like 100 - 200 dollars. Surely that would be plenty?

I'm in. I wish someone would do it & hurry. I'm really surprised that more people haven't jumped on this bandwagon.

my feeling is that it isn't the cost but finding someone who would/could/wants to do it.  it's probably quite a lot of work and if someone was into this they'd probably already have done it or be doing it.  I don't mind kicking in 5 or10 bucks, I'm just not sure that the cash is the issue.  has anyone tried approaching the original author and offering some money for mod'ing it to smf?
