How can I create buttons with the same font-size as the default buttons (like home.gif etc)?

I've made a few adjustments to the default buttons :

- changed the font size to the same size as is use here
- added a drop shadow to the font, so it looks pretty much like the ones used here

It'd be cool if you could give the option to make the button color black (add 'black' to the drop-down box)!

It'd also be cool if you give the option of not making it mandatory to put an icon with it.

Adding black buttons isn't really that easy.......the other things won't be too difficult.

Ok I must be missing something?

Ive done a search of SMF and find buttons all over, but not how to intergrate them on the menu bar.
I have a theme ( 7dana) which I can install mods and they verify working but I apprently need to manually put the button on the bar point to the file.  But how does one modify the menu bar to add buttons?
I want to add the donation button and the arcade button
which I think installed in default.

Is there a tutorial I missed ?

Can anyone make me a warn button (for use with the Visual Warning Mod). The attached button is the one that follows with the mod.
It would be nice to have one in the default layout as well.
