This problem only occured when i uninstalled the media manager mod that was put on here a few days ago, it only looks differnt as i have changed the colour, the theme is exactly the same

Just so i no where to look and go for help, what file/s could be causing this erorr ?

You could have wiped some text strings out by deleting modifications.english.php

copy Modifications.english.php from your Default Dir /languages
and replace your Modifications.english.php file in your DilberMC theme.

That sounds like the best plan for him. In the long run he should heed the backup advice.

Hi thanks, there isnt one in the dibler theme, i think it must use the majority of the defult files

Media Center Admin is in "Features and Options" all the way at the bottom, unlabeled.



I love this mod, except for one thing.  If there's no Videos or Music files, why a) have them as menu choices and b) have music be the default option - most people post images as attachments.  It looks silly when you click on Media Center and all you get is "There are no items for this category at the moment"

How can I make it so Videos and Music basically don't exist...  my users aren't going to be posting them - at least definitely not music.

that the name is so long that it has my page stretched wide.  I went into my files and deleted this file but now it still shows the image as being attached but now it just isn't available.  Is the a way to edit the file s, or in this case the file name so that it doesn't stretch my page?

Thanks, chep.  Althogh I did find where to remove the file, that mod looks pretty handy.  I will need to take a look.  Meanwhile, whenever I try to load an mp3 file of 2400kb it won't allow it.  I have upped the limits everywhere I can.  Through my contol panel file manager it doesn't allow large files to be uploaded, I have to upload those with my ftp.  So is my host server not going to allow anything much more than images, and mp3 and video clips of less than about thirty seconds?

If your host is limiting you by that file size (strange that it is so low) then I believe you might be done for. I strongly suspect it to be true.

I'm not sure it matters if you said your host was limiting your uploads via php.ini example

upload_max_filesize = 10M .. or something like that. Otherwise you are talking about something else... Hope it all works out  for you.

Ok.. Im new to all of this but I am learning as I go.  I have two sites.. one I am just an admin on and the other I own.  For some reason I was not able to upload the media center onto one site.  I received the following error.  It did load on my own site, however even though I have loaded it, I may not understand what I should be looking for.  Am I required to do some code modification for this to show up on a particular board???  Please help!! I've installed this mod before, but i had to refresh my site and re-install everything. Now when I install this mod, this appears at the very top of my screen- $txt['media_center'] = 'Media Center'; $txt['media_music_width'] = 'Width for the music popup'; $txt['media_music_height'] = 'Height for the music popup'; $txt['media_videos_width'] = 'Width for the videos popup'; $txt['media_videos_height'] = 'Height for the videos popup'; $txt['media_disable_filename_filter'] = 'Disable filename formating for Media Center'; $txt['whoallow_mediacenter'] = 'Viewing the Media Center.'; -and the Media section is not there. Every test was successful, and im using the Default SMF Core System skin. Help?

It usually means that the modifications.english.php got malformed.

You can usually move everything after ?> in that file to just before the ?>

I am still having trouble finding this on my site.  There were no new choices on my Features and Options.. any ideas?
