is it possible to put the current weather as text in the signature area instead of replacing the avatar. folks on site love their existing avatars.

It doesn't replace Avatars, it is located below them.

Ah I see. Because this is some sort of live feed is there any noticable difference in forum performance or any slowness? Looks like a very cool mod

I had this installed on 1.1RC3 and really liked it. I upgraded to 1.1.1 and when I tried to reinstall this mod through the package manager, package manager does not give me an "install mod" option after I download the mod.

Any ideas?

Yep, I am updated all the packages right now.

All packages have been updated for SMF Version 1.1.1 As well as Slick_GraphitePro template has been added.

No the Weather Avatars are coming from my server not yours. So I am eating the bandwidth for the Weather Avatars.

Anyway to get it to show up for each person up in the "Hello" area with their avatar...I'll attach a pic where I'm talking about

Or even pointing me in the right direction and I'll try and figure it out

OK I got it to show up there but it won't grab the location of the member, it just defaults.

In the profiles it still works though

I would be very interested in this, but I do NOT want it to replace location in the profiles.

I would like to use this mod on our Forums, so rather than going through and attempting to mod it from the default theme myself, I thought that since you offered I would ask if you could modify the package to work with the themes Silver_Shine_V2 and Neon. What's going on with the weather avatars? They just show a red x now...They've been working fine for a long time and now bam, nothing lol.

Yep, when i clicked on the link to find the right code for my area, Norton alerted..also had the images up till recently and then only had the red X box

I have noticed and am seeing the red X's as well. I am hoping the creator of the mod will be fixing this soon. Love the idea, but am considering an uninstall at this point.

I uninstalled it yesterday because it's inoperable. Everyone on my site misses it already. It was really cool to be able to see what everyone's weather was. Hope they get it fixed soon!

agreed. it was easy to use and easy to install.

I have noticed too that going to the authors site (board) does want to download a virus though. I am thinking their site is bugged and causing the grief.
