This Mod Places a Weather Sticker below user Rank on Posts, based upon Users Zipcode or
ICAO(International Civil Aviation Organization)on profile Location. To find out the Closest ICAO go to http://www.citywx.com to pull up location and find ICAO on Page.  If user does not fill in the Location area, no Weather Sticker Will be shown.  We use CityWx.com Weather for the
Weather Avatar Stickers.

I am not sure If it is compatible with other versions, as I could only test with 1.1, 1.1 RC3 and 1.0.8

This MOD is for the Default Template, but I can make it for Custom Templates and themes as well. I just need a copy of your theme.

Updated MOD to Modify the Register.template.php to prompt for zip code / icao.  Also updated profile.template.php for user ease of use

I have added both Celcius and Fahrenheit to the Weather Sticker for our Friends that do not live in the U.S. Hope this helps!

Doesn't seem to want to work with Canadian codes, though.  I entered "CYYZ" for the Toronto Pearson Airport, but nothing shows up.  Works fine with an American ZIP code, though...

You are using the Igoh Theme, if not what Theme are you using.

however i have two suggested improvements...

why does it replace the location section in the profile?

now for me instead of saying "location: sydney, australia" i have "location: WXYZ"

can't we instead have a location section as well as a postcode/IACO code section?

and secondly....

is it possibly at all to put in a section in your look and layout options to hide the weather like a person can hide avatars and sigs if they don't wish to see them

That's the Toronto Island Airport (different one).  This one seems to work, but not CYYZ.  Very strange...

If that weather station is down or has not updated thier info...it will not show up

I am just learning all about SMF, so messing with the database to add a field would have been a nightmare.

The hiding of the avatar can be done.....will be out for version 3.0

Both CYTZ and CYYZ are valid codes that are updated on the site provided.
