MyBB 1.2.1 --> SMF 1.1.1

Hi all,
anyone already successfully migrated from MYBB 1.2.x to SMF 1.1.x? The converter available is only for MyBB 1.0 I guess. Its not working for me giving me the following error.

Caused the error:

    You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AS MSN, 1, 255) AS MSN,
    SUBSTRING(signature, 1, 65534) AS sig

Any ideas or tips to narrow down the issue?
