Disregard this message.  My host figured out the problem.  If I find out what it was, I will post here so other newbies don't make the same mistake.

Hi all,

I recently installed smf on a shared hosting account, and I have run into an issue.  I notice that none of my functions, like login or logout, work when I type in [hxxp:www.domain.com/smf/%7Bpage%7D [nonactive]], but they do work if I leave the www out, as in [hxxp:domain.com/smf/%7Bpage%7D%5D. [nonactive]

For example, if I try to login from my smf forum homepage at [hxxp:www.domain.com/smf/index.php [nonactive]], I get taken back to the login page with an incorrect password error.  But if I try to login from [hxxp:domain.com/smf/index.php [nonactive]], it works.

Can anybody tell me why this might happen.  I have a decent amount of experience programming php with mysql, but I am not very experienced with the linux directory structure, so the problem could be in my installation.

Thank you in advance for any help.
