Hello again everyone.

So I'm having the dickens of a time trying to get my login module formatted correctly to fit my site and location.  I know the first problem is that I don't really know php fully, so reverse engineering is proving to be difficult for me on this one.  With playing around in the mod_smf_login file I usually end up either breaking the file or not achieving my need results, which should be pretty easy.

What I'm trying to do is change the layout so that input boxes are on 1 line with the text occupying 1 line above and 1 line below.  For some reason standard HTML isn't doing the trick.  Also, what css file actually controls the layout and colors of the module?  Making changes in both my site template css as well as the default SMF and SMF template css's don't seem to have an effect.

Can someone give me a hand or at least point me in the right direction.

Thanks a bunch!

UPDATE:
So I have it somewhat looking the way I would want it.  Here's a new question that has arisen.  So I needed to change the text color for the login module.  That was accomplished by changing the css in the SMF Theme's css file.  But the color for the links comes from my Joomla Theme's css file. Is that correct?  How can I associate the login module to a certain set of rules within either of the css files.  I've attempted to set a module suffix in the module parameters and made the required adjustment in the Joomla template's css, but no changes.  If I just change the a:link color it works fine, changing all of my links.

Thanks in advance.
