Must login twice for Joomla and SMF

Hi all, I've seen other posts like this one, but none I could find had solutions.

I have:
- Joomla 1.0.12
- SMF 1.1.2
- Bridge for SMF 1.1.x to Joomla 1.0.x --- 1.1.7

I am able to register users fine - they are added to both Joomla and SMF properly.

However, I must login once to Joomla, and then again for SMF - it does not automatically recognize users on both. If anyone can please tell me how to solve this issue I would appreciate it.

Your forum menu item points to your stand alone forum, not your bridge.

How do I tell if I am logged into Joomla?

Solution: My "topmenu" linked to my forum URL instead of linking to "Link: Joomla component > Forum"
