Topics started from certain boards

I need to add a link to profiles allowing people to see all of that persons topics they have started in specific boards. Whilst this sort of thing would be easy(er) in phpBB, due to the SMF search system not allowing you to simply search by user and not term (one of it's negatives) it is obviously not so.

I already have a mod installed allowing you to see all of the users topics they have started, as well as the already existing link to see all of their posts.

This is something I desperately need, and have requested help with this several times and have received none.

If someone can please help me with this, it would be hugely appreciated.

I don't think that this will help you much BUT you can search by author? Just put the author's name in the box and put the asterisk that was in there into the search field.

For me it just comes up with "Did you forget to put something to search for?"

Unless there was an update to the searching sytem in 2.0.. I'm still running on 1.1 RC3 and can't really upgrade.

Given the security holes in the RC versions failing to update is pretty much potentially dooming you to failure. And, just an FYI, it looks as if it is limited to 2.0 though, if it will help, you can probably remove the checks and search for blanks. Not much help I am afraid but MAYBE checking to see if someone will make this as a mod (someone who can and has time to) will be an avenue you can try if you haven't already done so. A quick search doesn't seem to show any subjects that resolve this.
