I am getting the following error message in my forums log:

8: Undefined index: can_view
File: /home/teal/public_html/hellzhawtdogz/oscar/Themes/default/Profile.template.php (eval?)
Line: 362

This error is being generated for guests and I believe regular members with restricted access.

Ideas?

Do you have any mods installed that are, for example modifying the profile page, like Profile music or anything? Please state the mod version and SMF version for me if you do have mods installed.

OK, the MySpace field might be causing this. Click on the List Files option for the mod and see if it lists the Profile.template.php file in there. If it does, that could be the problem right there and we can work on this from there.

There is no such file.

If I use the search box this error appears:

http://www.hellzhawtdogz.com/oscar/index.php?action=search2
8: Undefined index: can_view
File: /home/teal/public_html/hellzhawtdogz/oscar/Themes/default/Search.template.php (eval?)
Line: 306

If a guest uses the search, the same error appears.

EDIT: I have corrected the search problem by replacing the file (search.template.php) from the backup copy. I still need help with the first post above.

Try the advice here:
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=187495.msg1192964#msg1192964

Then post the (possibly different) error message. Don't forget to switch disableTemplateEval from 1 to 0 after that.

Please do not PM me with support requests unless I invite you to.
