forsakenlad

Thanks for the comment Tony, I'm converting the other templates too. I'm hoping to create a complete revision of the templates soon.

Thanks for this beautiful theme forsakenlad :).

I use the version 1.03 but I have a bug with Firefox (not with IE) that you can see here, a scroll bar appear when I  click on "Show unread posts since last visit." and "Show new replies to your posts." How to fix this issue ?

Thanks in advance ;).

forsakenlad

This is rather a small issue. Please open up style.css in your theme folder (alak) and search for this:

#loggedin
{
width: 40%;
float: right;
text-align: right;
list-style-type: none;
font-size: 110%;
color: #EEE;
height: 69px;
margin-top: 14px;
overflow: auto;
}

and replace it like this:

#loggedin
{
width: 40%;
float: right;
text-align: right;
list-style-type: none;
font-size: 110%;
color: #EEE;
height: 69px;
margin-top: 14px;
}

Hey falguni1, It looks really nice but seems a little messy on Firefox and IE7. Let me know if you need any help with it. :)
WOW thanks for the reply. and yes i need help.
First this is a highly professional theme which costs too much when you buy it that you have given for free. so first I would like to thank you for the beauty of this professional template and for giving it to all the users of the SMF forum.
Though I like forums the problem with them is that when you want to go back to topics/boards you have to hit back arrow of the browser. for seeing different topics you just click and click. I get too tired of this all And all I do is close the window and off the computer. hehe  :'(
so I was wondering If the boards are in sight of the user he just needs to look at his left to  choose the board he wants to go to instead of using the back arrow. and the topics too related/under the board he chooses are in his view.
the demo site I am using is http://omsites.com/7777
You know its 3 column
if It has something like this like

left column
posts/replies
which will display the posts and replies under the topic which the user has selected when he clicked on the topic in the middle column
middle column
topics
which will display the topics which are under the board which the user selects when he clicks on the board in the right column
and leave some empty space to insert html/javascript here
right last column
boards/child boards
boards where the user can click to select the board he wants to go to.
and leave some empty space to insert html/javascript here

the best thing about this idea is that it saves the user for the irritating do going back and searching all the user has to do is look left and select  :P
the whole point is easy navigation and this makes the user stay on the site longer as the whole site looks filled up and as the related topics are in site. It may look like a mixtue of a website and blog and forum but thats good.
Well if you feel that what I said looks pointless please let me know.

Now this is another topic other than SMF...............................  :P
I have downloaded your template too many times I dont know the name of the template. It has a purple flower and it has a frame on the left though I didnt use it as I am Using now SMF I never knew I would get a chance to talk to you so I say It a beautiful template. I saw it when I searched for HTML templates In google.

forsakenlad

Well the thing you are asking for is not that easy to implement. I'll work on it and attach the files when I finish it.

really
yahoooooooooooooooooooooooo   :D :P
yaa it is difficult but i see this wordpress themes and this site and i find it really stunning http://www.free-css-templates.com/

a 3 column layout with all written stuff on the left column and all links and small banners and all attractive stuff in the middle and the right column.

SMF needed a really competitive professional theme which you get after you spend some 75 to 120$ then to no guarantee that its going to look stunning. hehe take a look at these paid themes, all they have done is just change the colours and put some graphics on the top or the side bars http://www.free-css-templates.com/search.php?category=64
Alak is so beautiful than these all now wot more can we ask for.

Why don't SMF ppl consider this theme as basic theme with 2.0, which can give tough competition to any software!! All ppl who are talking about SMF graphics can keep thier mouth shut

Because (nice as it is) this is forsakenlad's theme, not SMF's, and SMF is working on its own...

But hopefully, when the SMF 2.0 theme is *finished*, all those who keep griping about semantics and tables will realise that they've been preaching to the converted all along!

There is no system that has as much theme option as smf.

They already shut their mouth. I am sure about this ;)

This is happening because your logo is too big. Please resize it.

For some weird reason I was banned from using Google Adsense. I don't feel like using it again.
