Need wowBB conversion

I need a wowBB site converted. I'm willing to pay but I can't pay much.  $50.00 bucks.  Yea I know, not much.   I would consider just inserting my user's into a new forum for me.  Or maybe someone can tell me how to do the insert of their user names, passwords and emails.  I've had a wowBB site for three years.  Three years ago it was the way to go but do their policy on not helping with addons I'm pretty fed up with them, not to mention that I've been hacked and taken down at least once a month for the last 4 or 5 months.  This time they have left me down for 4 days so far with no response to my trouble ticket.  I'm not the only one being hacked.  Or I wasn't, most of the others may have already left.  Thanks.

You can always switch convert to another forum software whom SMF supports than convert that.

I don't know.  They will give you a 30 day trial.

What I know about SQL and or PHP wouldn't take much memory.

Appropriate board?  Do you mean on wowBB?  Sorry I don't follow.   This is the only place I asked.  Do you think I should ask else where.  I don't think asking on wowBB is going to help much and it is probably not a good idea.  wowBB is a pay board.  They have been very good up until all these hacks.  But they have been pretty much anti third party developers, at least that is my feel.  There are very few plugins for the board.  They will not help with third party at all, at least not in public. 

Do you have any time frame for what this will take?  Not rushing, just asking.

I considered reposting without offering the token $50.00 but don't want to hack off the mods.  I was kind of disappointed they moved it but it is not my board.    And they do what they think is best.  And I'm not being sarcastic this time.

The softwre is fine, they are about to upgrade again very soon and my site, wowbblounge helps with EVERYTHING you need.

Wow support SUCKS big time. But we offer moving you to a new host and mod and more.

Wow needs to learn some business 101 but we've got the 'third party' stuff down. Classic Nancy at her wowbbthememall is really good too for stuff.

If converting to this software is going to be a problem for you due to smf not having the converter, then come to the lounge and we'll get you moved at least.

FYI wow hosting has so many security holes in it people ARE leaving in droves. My friend who moves the sites works as a tech and hosts, he said there are so many holes in the server that he can log into ANY wow hosted site as admin and do allot of damage.

He's pointed this out to them at wow and got nothing but ridicule. Good thing hes an honest person!

Yea I stopped the way there were hacking me, for my efforts the hackers deleted my entire board and backups, I lost a couple of weeks.

The lounge is a forum off wowBB?  Tell me where it is and I'll join you.  I prefer SMF actually so I'd rather convert but I need to move to keep my board up.  But right now, I can't move it either.  It's down.  Been down since Wednesday of last week.

Now I've asked them to update my domains contact info and no response there either.  I can't do anything until they update my domain so I can point it to the new DNS.

Give allot of detail as to what's going on with the board but do try not to rag on wow for now. They do come in and snoop around and I don't have problems with them at the moment and it took me 2 years to get them to behave toward me! lol

You never know when you may need them.

Their biggest problem is that they have 3 workers. Jim who is in it all for his ultra junk (pure junk that don't work) Mat who is useless. Gives one word help answers, and Marty who seems to be the only one doing all the work lately.

So, I have made mention a million times that they are a growing company and they need to think about more spiffy service. It aint' going to happen. So i moved a year ago. Not one problem since and that is on three sites.

But I've needed them to look at things on occasion, so I try to stay pleasant. Until they smite me LOL

Twitchin Kitten, I think your stuff would have been better served done via private messages.  No disrespect intended.

Sickthing, we would probably need a database dump of JUST the structure linked here before we could do anything in terms of a converter.  I'm not saying that a converter will definitely be done, however, it might help our Converter Guru sort stuff out faster.  Just make sure you don't include actual live data (for your safety)
