SMF and Flickr. Is it possible?

I've been looking around and I'm not sure where to post this just yet, so I'm going to ask it here and get a little direction and go where I need to further the discussion.

So, I'm looking at ways for my members to easily manage images..  I've looked at SMF Gallery lite and pro (I have lite installed) and I am exploring options that will be cost effective in my site management.

My members are going to have ALOT of photos, which means major bandwidth usage.  Flickr would be a great substitute for the gallery because I don't have to worry about storage and bandwidth.

Does anyone have any experience with this type of interaction with SMF and flickr?  Are there any modules or plugins currently available that would help with this?
