I got the solution here (or I think so  ) : Just, at the end of first replacing part, there should be two end syntax, but was only one.. So, just add "}" at the end of the first replace part of modification on install.mod.
like this:

Me again, it's seem working but actually not. At loading stage of "quote", it's jumping to quick reply area but do not quote and stops...
Any idea how to fix?

smilies work in my default theme. What and where do I need to edit so they show in my current helios_multi11final theme.

I couldn't get this mod to work I am a very new user of SMF I have recently installed smf 1.1.1 and when when I want install, installer said test failed, but I backup target modified file and installed anyway, but nothing changed, no smiley (or something new) near the quick reply window (note: I tried rc3 and other (most downloaded one) )
Can you help me to see smileys near the auick reply window

To enhance the enhanced replies would be to add a little script which allows resizing of the textarea or input vertically.

Ugh, I really would like to get this to work in Dilber MC theme.  I run 3 boards all with that theme and I think the Quick Reply box is a must.  I've looked all over the Admin panel and I can't find where to enable it.  I'm using 1.1 RC3 and 1.1.1

Profile --> Look and Layout Preferences --> Use quick reply on topic display:  don't show at all show, off by default show, on by default

I never did see it in the admin section.

I think that''s if u want to activate the Quick Reply for individual use, but if u want to activate it for the whole forum as a default then you should do the following:

Admin -> Current Theme -> Reset Options -> Reset all members' current options for this theme

Setting default is also there.

Hello. I'm trying to install the quick repply on my forum as well, it's SMF 1.1 but it's not working, any ideia why? :/ The install is fine but it doesn't shows the quick reply

Lol great i guess i got a new problem, when i post with the quick reply it throws me off the topic aand i need to go in again, wasn't it suposed to send me to the topic page like the 'reply' button does?

Doesnt not install on a clean 1.1.1 default board with no mods.
It installs the mod ok, but doesnt nothing and shows up no where

there is only one version of streaming available?  I am using it now on RC3 but I am about to upgrade to 1.1.1 so does the streaming version work with 1.1.1 or is there only a non-streaming version for 1.1.1?
