any news on an upgrade?

I was using it then upgraded the site to 1.1.2 which kept the mod however there where a few odd posting issues.

So I'll wait for a full 1.1.2 fix or a new mod for the same thing.

I'm using 1.1 RC3 and I can install with no problem but no Quick Reply appear in topic (default theme).

Did you check the admin, maybe you have to enable it at first or something like that...

i am using SMF 1.1.2 but i successfully installed this mod...

i successfully installed because:
a) i don't have any mods installed...it is a fresh copy...
b) i use default theme....

i have tried to install this mods into a modified/mods installed SMF system but it has error....

so i guess this mods won't compatible unless you have a fresh copy of SMF or you know how to manually modify yourself....i also hope that the new release will come out...

Is the quick reply used on this forum the same quick reply as this mod? Since it seems to be working with 1.1.2?

not really...it is enhanced with smilery icon and more added....

i've done the auto install and it didn't work so i tried the manual install.
it didn't worked also ...

Well I downloaded and installed the current mod in 1.1.2 and didnt receive any errors or problems, but no quick reply box shows up...

Or at least that is what i understand (i have little experience on SMF and coding) from your post and also looking at the errors of others and mine's.
The last part of the code is wrong or something is missing so it refuses to create the "most important bit - the actual text box to write in!"
i'm looking forward to an 1.1.2 update

the Simple Machines Forum has the quick reply enabled but it is not the enhanced one (applied by this mod) .

No no, it doesnt show the smilies. But if you know the smilies code or BB commands you can type them out and it treats them the same. Quick Reply just doesnt load all the images and buttons etc. that pressing "Reply" does.
