can simple portal add left side bar in forum??

Hello everybody,
I have installed the SMF 1.1.7 with the Theme Kozakelebegi and the SimplePortal 2.0.5
I would like to set something similar to show the recent Topics but to be seen as the

following image that I attached.

I would like to be able to choose the boards where this is going to be applied.
The image would be the first to be shown in the body of the message, but

redimensioning to 150x206, or in the boards that have been
choosen, after the subject will ask to fill the information where the image address

appears, this address should be stored in a new field in the database.

I hope I have made myself clear enough to be understood, and because I can´t find

another way to explain it better.

I don't think we can do this right now. Maybe in the next version like 2.1? I also would like to do the same.

nice mod. i have a little question.

y had installed the mod im using 2.04 smf and theme darkbreak

and im getting dots for images how can i fix it

example

upload the dot.gif and arrow.gif to your images folder from that theme

Be sure your host doesn't have SAFEMODE on. Likewise make sure you don't have mod_security on either.

It's working now.

Sometimes server do tend to have minor troubles.
Always best to check again after a few minutes, before you report a site as down.

Clear you browser's cache, then flush your DNS:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\ipconfig.exe /flushdns

If that does not work, then it may be a problem with their site going on and off, as every time I load it, it comes up.... (That happens a lot to people...LOL)

Just for future reference, for anyone using SMF 2.0.x (Beta/RC/Final), when installing SimplePortal, click on "Install in other themes" which should drop down into a list of themes you have and the various files to be edited and actions to be performed.

Two actions are moving adding images, named dot.gif and arrow.gif. If there are no failures in that theme, I suggest checking the box next to the theme name to perform the installation to that theme. If there are failures/errors for that theme, I would not suggest checking the box, but manually moving the images.
