I just want to know, how do we create a block that you can choose only one member group to see excluding administrator.

I want to have guests see a message, but only guests, not admins I dont see how to "disable/hide" the block from admins?

Is it possible?

Such a thing isn't possible. An administrator is 'doomed' to see all content on his forum. If you'd like to view your blocks as a regular member, you should create a test account with which you can play around

Well, the ad management mod has an option to disable ads for Admins, some other setting have similar things, surly if ad man mod can disable ads for admin, a block can be disabled for admin too.

I really like Simple Portal but now there is a problem

Some of my members wont see the portal.
They only gets a blank page.

I see your portal fine, maybe check the permission settings for all member groups

Guests can see it but not most of the users.

What permissions should I check?

For blocks:
which blocks are they not seeing

Go to the edit settings for the problem block and
open the [ Select permissions for each group ] drop down and make sure the member groups you want to see the block are all selected

the portal page, is it all blank or just the bottom?

EDIT 2, I signed up and see what you mean now a completely blank page

Standalone URL change the standalone setting to match you index.php file.

I changed the Simple Portal to be "stand alone" and typed http://www.aggma.com/forum/index.php as the Stand Alone URL.
That only resulted in that I dont get any portal at all

Just the bottom of the blocks. On my forum this is white color, on the www.aggma.com/forum/index.php this is a brown color.

Hold on, so you were getting a 100% white completely screen before making any changes, because I logged on and that all I got.

What was the original problem, was it 100% blank or did you see anything?

When I log in as administrator or just visit as a guest the portal works.
But any other user just gets a white screen.

hmmm, thats very odd, it has to be a permission thing, but Im pretty sure we have gone through all the permission settings for it already

Yes, it feels like it. But I have no idea and my members thinks everything is down since they cannot see the portal.

Wow, did you edit that file with notepad or something? All the code is on the same line, which is never a good sign. Do you have a copy of the file from before you edited it? That would be more useful.

About the member's post, ask them which browser/s they use, and if they can post a screenshot of the issue.

What text? If you are referring to the title of the block, then put 'text-align: center;' into the 'Custom Title Style' option.

Still hasn't centered. I even cleared cache to be sure of it.

Just had a major problem.  I wanted to install the latest version, so I uninstalled the previous version, but now I can not use my forum.

Luckily I backed up the forum before, simple put a few files back!!! It was index.php it messed up...

I tried downloading the simple portal for 1.1.10.
I downloaded but when i tried to install i get an "Error in Package Installation"
When it does the installation run through it says "test failed" beside ./Sources/ManagePermissions.php and ./Sources/Recent.php.
Can someone help?
