I've never used the import option due to never needing it. So if that function still doesn't work in 0.7.9, you'll probably have to wait for the next functional release.

help! i installed the latest version of zcommunity and IT works perfectly fine, but i now suddenly get nothing but blank pages when i try to use any othe usual admin function

i cant see the package list to uninstall it and fix my forum... i dont know what to do? help please

I can't install this mod, I don't know what happens.... I install it the same ganeral mods. it's problem. and then I intall by manual, it's problem,too

I'm assuming when you set an entry to "Private" then you're the only one who can see it?

Also, the friends thing is a feature if you have multiple bloggers?

I guess theres no way to password protect certain entries or perhaps a permission base system per entry is there?

I had this problem once, but i forget the solution. I'm pretty sure i just reinstalled due to being drunk the first time. It also may require some code added to you custom theme's index.template.php.

Failed to load critical zCommunity settings file.

i install by general mod. writing files is okey. but finally it shows these sentence "Could not find the necessary zCommunity sources files. Database edits failed! " . i don't uderstand. i install by menual after that  i setup this file"install_db_edits.php" . it shows  the same sentence,too

Then upload zCommunity_0_8_1_beta__smf_install.zip to your packages folder and install via package manager.

When you create each blog it gives you options as to who can see it. If it still fails, I highly recommend downgrading to 0.7.9 .

Not the web server root. The forum root folder. For example: whatever.com/forum would be the forum root.

manually extracted _files and ftp them to forum root on server
package manager - uploaded install file -
Type Action Description
1. Execute Modification ./index.php Test successful
2. Execute Modification .\Sources/Subs.php Test successful

4. Execute Modification .\Themes\default/index.template.php Test failed
5. Execute Code install_db_edits.php


deleted all files then tried the same with 7.9 version:
once again i got

is it worth going ahead with the install anyway?
or have i missed a manual change somewhere?
