I've just searched for "simpler captcha" (hoping to find a mod that will allow me to use a simpler captcha, with only numbers in order to not annoy my non-English users), when I saw this message:

You may have meant to search for simpler catch.

This is not what I was meant to search for, but it is still nice
Is it a built in feature on SMF 2, or a mod ?

That is a feature which is built into SMF 2 Beta. I agree, its very useful!

It's built in for SMF 2.0 as LHVWB as stated. You can make a mod request for it on SMF 1.1.5 in Mod Requests if you want.

Indeed this is a built in feature although I believe it requires pspell as the words are from the dictionary and not the SMF DB

According to my SMFstrings, this is also in 1.1.x

This is in 1.1. You need to enable spellchecking for it to show. (psspell is required)
