Your templates are fine to pass over for editing, the database holds the vital information. Passwords are safe etc..
But never pass somebody your Settings.php. It holds your database path and password etc..

Okay, thank you.  I am attaching the index.templates.php for the default core theme.  I really like the enterprise theme, but it does not show the other buttons, e.g. gallery and the one I added to go to my main site.

Is their anyway to edit or "clean up" the URL's?

Instead of having it look like this...

http://www.mydomain.com/page/?id=7

Have it look like this...

http://www.mydomain.com/page/guide

I think there's a mod that does pretty urls.

Ya...I have the "Pretty URL's" mod installed and it works for boards topics, profiles, etc. But does not change the URL's created by this Pages Mod.

Thoughts anyone?

Okay so I'm using  SMF 2.0 RC3 and I really like the looks of this mod. I'm assuming since it says 2.0 RC2 that RC3 isn't going to work with it. It installs fine but whenever I create a page with it, all I get is:

Not Acceptable

An appropriate representation of the requested resource /smf/index.php could not be found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

So has anyone run into this before? Right now I don't have any other mods installed.

Mostly I'm wanting to use this for getting my flashchat to open up inside my forum and not in a new page. But I do need several different custom pages and this could work for all of them... so that would be wonderful.

Hey,

   Has anyone seen this error, everything installed fine and I even went through the parse for my version and it all looks fine.   This is on SMF 2.0 RC3 

But when I try to add a page I get this:

Unknown column 'showmenuitem' in 'field list'
File: /home/bgghost/public_html/bgf/Sources/Pages.php
Line: 169

How do i update to the latest version?
Do i just install the latest version?
Do i have to remove the old version?

I really like this mod but then i really hate the lines that it adds at the bottom of my forum. How to remove those lines?

I have SMF 2 RS5 and the pages mod version 1.8. and I wanted an option to add blocks to the pages that I create. Is that even possible. I tried usin html table tags and well I all ways sucked at html. any ideas from any one would be great..

This mod need to fix the 8: Undefined index: server errors in the subs.php relating with avatars

This mod works fine - but I've that message also.... - any idea to get rid of that message?
Won't uninstall it - as I said - works fine...

I just installed this mod in my forum..

i tried to install aswell thru manual installation... but error still there..

Please help... im just a newbie with smf...

I have this installed in 2.0.2 on a forum installed in a root/forum/ directory.  For some reason it redirects all the pages back to my blog that is installed in the root.  The url it shows looks correct like:

http://xxx.com/forum/?action=page;id=1

I got no errors on install.  Any idea what the problem is?

I would suggest those wanting similar features look for a different method.

Yeah you know what's weird, I tried to emulate 2.0 RC2 and it wouldn't install.  It installed in 2.0.2 though.

As a test I installed it on a 2.0.2 version of smf with a PortaMx portal and it worked like a charm without a single issue.

Huh, maybe it just doesn't play well with something else I'm using. I'm using the Bakers Dozen Pages mod now instead with no problems.

Just out of curiosity, is there a reason that when a new page is created, the file for that page winds up in my cache files? Also, from a security standpoint, I am noticing that in those cache files the modified dates keep on changing- and I am not editing any of the content of the pages. Any reason why this is happening?

I checked the page files thoroughly and none of the content seems to be changed- just the date modified.
