I have installed the Helios / TinyPortal v0.8.6
the tiny portal mod and the upgrade
But i have lost my Total Posts,Total Members,Latest Member stats from the forum (they still show up in the frount page), i cant shrink or expand the header, i cant change my forum banners, one of my banners dosn't show up any more,
and i can't change any settings in theme and layout settings in the admin panel.
When i try to change any of these (settings or banners) it kicks me out to the smf default theme
Apart from these errors it looks great

It sounds like your trouble is due to wrong versions of Helios. .are you sure you use the correct version? There is different versions for SMF, but also TP versions of the same SMF versions. basically a TP version is just a SMF version with added calls to the portal functions. otherwise the theme is the same.

I have no plans for a light version, sorry. This theme was designed as dark, and rely on that for its 3d effect.

I've had a few problems since upgrading and wondered if you might be able to help me understand what's going on.  Helios has been my default template for the past 18 months or so, but I had to upgrade to Multi when I updated the forum software to 1.1 RC2.  After installation, the header and footer sub templates don't show up on the index screen, the spellcheck no longer works and there are several other bits and pieces that don't work.  I had some trouble during the upgrade of both the forum software and the theme - the host kept cutting the connection to SmartFtp.

What I'm wondering is whether Helios Multi calls templates from other directories to function, such as Babylon, for instance, or is it completely self contained?  I suppose what I'm asking is, which templates do you think are corrupt/missing and need replacing, and where are they?  Any ideas gratefully accepted.

Any templates inside Helios is changed versions of the same files inside default theme. So any "wrong" ones should first be checked in Helios, then default. Its only a few that Helios actually change though, the largest number is still in default - which Helios fallback on.

Thanks for the info, Bloc.  I changed a load of the tepmlates in 'default' and that cured a lot of the problems, but I still have the problem of the forum banner appearing in the middle of the wrong box

Any idea what's causing this, please?

thank you i have changed the versions of helios and tp ,they are working great together.

PS:Love the Enterprise theme.
