oneupdave..    I use Portamx and it IS quite good.  Given how the link for it is listed in Admin I would say try:   PortaMx Admin Center

I have ezportal working with a 2.0 upgraded from 1.1.x and I have had portaMX running on a 2.0 clean install as well...     your rant seems disjointed and unclear.

If you have a specific problem, please list, categorize and detail your problem(s) so that it (they) can be investigated and either solved or potentially indicated where the user error was.


You have spent that much time?     I have a forum with over 4 million posts and 50k users. The upgrade from 1.1.x took a few hours, but now that I am on 2.0, I do a full code refresh from the dev kit ever month or so...

Hello,
I am running SMF 2.0 RC1.2 and I tried to install PortaMX and I get an error message saying something like, either the package is currupt or not meant for this version of SMF. I tried downloading/uploading the package several time to ensure it doesnt get currupted during transfer, but I keep getting the same error message.
Do you have a new version available for SMF 2.0 RC1.2?

Did you upgrade to 2.0 RC1.2 as well?

I set up a test forum with 2.0 rc1.2

My host told me that if I do my active forum i  will loose all of my mods. So I am really nervous about doing it.

Best way, to emulate a RC1 for PortaMx install.
Also you have to add a manualy change in the Display.php, see this topic

Hello this looks great !
Is this mod french friendly ?
I mean is the mod available for French version of SMF ?
I had so many problems with other SMF portal because they were not dealing well with French version of SMF.
