I have read this topic but cannot find anything definite on how to use Hack's Shoutbox in IE8.  Our die-hard Internet Explorer users would love to use the Shoutbox

Any updates on this?

Love the Mod btw - and it works perfectly in FF

I would like to make a few custom commands for the shoutbox, but I have no idea how. I would like to make a /ban (username) command, a /silence (username) command, and a /prune (username) command. I know there is already a /prune command, but I would like to be able to prune only a certain users posts. I would appreciate any and all help with this! Thanks,

Because, it's easier for me to type the command, and I just like it that way. That's what I'm used to using. Please don't insult me because I prefer something different than you do. Everyone has their own preferences, and opinions. Keep yours to yourself if all you can do is insult me.

Ok I just found that I cant access the shoutbox admin  menu in my theme...

Only in the default theme...

How can I solve this?

people who have problems with load.php use:

I may have skipped it, but I'm not going through 17 pages, so...

What functions are there for this on where to place it? I want to place the Shoutbox at the top of all of my pages, but be able to exclude certain ones. How can I do this?

fill in in the box: Pages where Shoutbox will be printed, but leave out the pages were you don't want it

I have installed the nwe revision 2.0.2, but this working in IE7.XX but still not working in IE8.xx

Guys quick question can BB codes be used in the shoutbox? like to insert an image? Also I have it running on my custom theme but if I wanted to change the color of shoutbox background how would I go about it?

I cannot find how to add a "Submit" button anywhere. I have users that would like this functionality so they can use the shoutbox from their mobile devices that have no "enter" key.

Also, does anyone know what the name of the Profiles page is? I can have the shoutbox show up on all other pages but can't figure out what to call the Profile page.

Does anyone know why the smilies and font options don't work in Firefox and Safari?

They work in the default theme but not in the custom one. In the custom one they only work with Internet Explorer.

I put all the necessary files in the custom theme folder but still, the buttons only work in IE
