Static Topics

Version: 1.0 Date 2008-11-07
Compatibility: SMF 1.1.6 , SMF 2.0 Beta 4




When this option is enabled,then will be topics static,also that means,new topics stay where they are when posted.



How can you activate it ?

Admin -> Posts and Topics -> Topic Settings -> Enable static topics (SMF 1.1.6 & SMF 2.0 Beta 4)

Hmmm...I don't quite get this. How is this different from sticky topics?

I'm also a little confused. I got the general idea of it, but are you able to do it to individual topics and what not?

Thanks, nice mod.

I had a problem with a user overusing "btt" so a certain topic would stay on top.
This mod fixed that problem.

For others interested: it simply keeps the topic order in order of topic creation date, rather than by last post.  Also, it is not board specific, so all boards are affected, if this mod is enabled.

Most Recent Posts, and Last Post on Board Index not affected, work same as before.
