Dark, smooth and sexy theme for SMF 2 Beta 4 only. Sorta modern and sorta classic.
Comes with drop menus and customised board index, message index and calendar.
Additional custom files will be made available later for those who want them,
but I kept the basic package simpler so people could install mods with less editing.
Logo psd is available on the theme download page.

News fader and info center are collapsed by clicking the text header for a cleaner look.
Portal left panel is collapsed by clicking the "X bar" at the left edge of your screen. Try it.

ETA: If anyone is planning on making any alterations to the copyright for this theme please ask my permission first. Before giving any support I will require a link to the site where the theme is running. If there are any unauthorised copyright alterations no support whatsoever will be given. This applies to the theme copyright, the SMF copyright and the copyright for any portals that are in use on the site.

People put a lot of work into software and themes and they are entitled to recognition for their efforts. The link colours are chosen to blend with the look of the theme anyway. If you want a theme without copyrights make your  own software and theme.

It's just a slight variation on one of the codes in the drop menus thread in Tips and Tricks. I developed it based on someone else's code anyway so if you want to use it for another theme feel free.

i liked this theme very much ... but it will be great if you can provide psd file for logo..i want to change text in logo ....

2nd is i want to increase width of the forum ,,, i mean ,, visit here http://funcouldron.co.cc and see on home page ,,left side blocks are coming very small

Which IE? 8 I don't care about. It's far too beta. Theme is fine in 6 & 7 apart from the 2b4 Display.template.php and some 2b4 info centre code, which I haven't modified. I'm hoping the RC1 templates will be better. I'll have to recode it in a few weeks anyway.

Width is easy. Look for wrapper in style.css. I've got the psd on my desktop. I'll load it up.

No wonder. Your right side blocks are the size of a house.

okie ,,, i found that problem while using simpleportal ,,, i removed left side blocks now..

it was as if i increase the width of left side block then forum width was increasting and left size block width was increasing in IE but no change was hapnnig in firefox... if i enable leftside block then their width comes very less so text dosent appear in good format,,, so i removed left side blocks and moved them on right side....

and yeh hope u do tht coding u are saying of 2b4..

Yeah I'll be more thorough with the RC1 and later versions but at the moment I'm sorta flying blind to some extent. I don't know what are beta bugs and what aren't. I've seen some strange rendering in IE but the thing is it isn't consistent, which it usually is when you fubar a template. Sometimes it's fine and other times bits of it are borked, which leads me to think that it isn't the templates that are the real problem.

So this is really a trial run (like Beta 4 is) for a final version of the theme. It's fine in any browser worth using. Just have to get it sorted for the ones that aren't worth using. 

I'll believe Bill and Melinda Gates are philanthropists the day they announce that they've told Microsoft's R & D department to stop infesting the world with crap browsers and leave making browsers to people who know what they're doing.

I need help the theme keeps indenting the replies to topics how can i stop this?

Notice how the replies are indented? It destroys the theme so please tell me how tos top it

Would also like to know how to manually remove SMF version and otehr data at the footer
