Dear every1,

i have 2 site, one site is using smf 1.1.8, and another using 2.0 RC1

when i try to open repair_settings.php file, local or on the net, the recommended value on repair settings is always "SMFCookie11".

Any explanation?

Thanx.

That's just the default cookie name. If you have multiple forums running, you can safely change one to something different.

Its hard-coded thats why.

I think 11 was meant to refer to 1.1 branch. So the 2.0 version should probably be cookie20.
OR it should probably use the default cookie name if possible (not too sure how that is decided atm ???)

OK. if someone didn't notice this stuff, when he/she installing multiple forum, i'm sure it will arise errors that caused by cookies they have.

It wouldn't be hard to have it detect the value that install.php does.
In fact, it took less than 30 seconds.

Bug #3407: repair_settings.php detect cookie name from install.php

You don't have access to the new repair_settings.php yet.
I have altered it in our SVN which isn't public (basically its our working copy).
This should be changed when RC2 is released.

Although this is a trivial bug.
