Cannot Upload Avatars

Everytime I, or any other user on our forums attempt to uplaod an avatar, after clicking Submit, it will just bring them back to the Forum Profile Information page with NO avatar. How do I fix this?

Did you make the avaters directory CHMOD 777.

Go to FTP acount, go to your smf folder, right click on avaters directory and change permissions to 777. That means the folder can be writable.

OK, I just opened it and all my files were read-only

Imagine that...

It should work now because it wont work with read-only. Good luck with your board. I am pretty sure it will work.

I am trying to see whats wrong

When i registered, this came up

there is something wrong and i am not good with these kinds of stuff

Did you activate so regular members can upload, i cant right now. Make sure smtp info is right too

No, because it won't work for me and I'm a administrator. Administrators get full access to everything.

Are you saying that the admin panel is messed up too. Try to change the permissions.

I think it is something wrong with phpinfo. I cant help you with because i dont know those things. Anyhow, i gtg.
