Ok, I'm new this whole world of Webhosting.
Basically, I've set up one of my old PCs to be a Webhost.
OS = Windows XP Pro SP3
It's using WAMP. and is working fine with every other page i've made.
One of my friends on Steam, told me about SMF being a free forum, because i was looking for one...
oh and basically this whole website is just for a teenage band =], and i felt like being different to all those ones on myspace etc.
Basically (http://12onthedot-rulers.dontexist.com [nofollow])
the theme and images show up for me, when i type in 192.168.2.2
but for others, there's just text and a white background... =/
What have i done wrong or what needs changing ?
Thanks in advance =]
also
excuse the bad music... just click on the 'Forum' link in the nav bar.

You most likely ran the installer from the local view. You should run the installer from the web perspective. When you run the installer it should always be from the public address.

Add What is repair_settings.php? to the top level of the forum directory and run it via the public url and reset the filepaths (urls).
PM at your own risk, some I answer, if they are interesting, some I ignore.

thing is, how would i run it from the public perspective, when the http://12onthedot-rulers.dontexist.com [nofollow] takes me to my Router config page =/
Ill do that repair_settings.php now, when i figure out how i can do it publically

How do other people access the forum if the url takes you to the router? Sounds like you have a port forwarding/mapping problem which is beyond the scope of support that can be provided here.

Yes I Did.
Incase you wanted to know, I fixed it by.
Using Remote Assistance to connect to one my friends PCs, then Configuring the Forums from his PC.
Then, the Images didn't work for me...
so i did what this guy said, and it all worked fine.
