Attachments won't post!

Everytime I try to post an attachment the following appears:  Cannot access attachments upload path!  Does anyone else have this problem and do you know how to fix it???

Go to Admin>Attachments and Avatars and check that "Attachments directory:" point to the right place.

Which forum version are u using?
Do you have anything in your error log?
Have you tried repair_sertings.php ?
