Mod to stop copying of posts

We hxxp:tri-service.org [nonactive] are having problems with a members copying post and sending them onto a banned member.

The banned member is causing big problems by reporting our members to who ever he can to get them into trouble.

Is there a mod that will stop people copying pages/posts?

Or, is there anyway we could find out who was doing the copying?

Our forum is a private one with applicants being screened to ensure their service history is as they say, no visitors are allowed.

Is there anything that may help us as we are desperate.

I'm not sure there is much you can do, as anyone can use the copy paste function on any website to copy text or even take screenshots if you try to prevent them copy/pasting.  Which is also the problem with trying to trace whodunnit especially if they are doing it that way.

Most of our members are old blokes and use IE, the fix for IE on the link you provided works.

Careful if those old blokes ever hunt around in Internet Options.

I use this mod Disable Right Click

but it is posible to save the page source or even take a screen shot

I used to have right click disabled as we had a lot of images that members didn't want stolen but as I said above, you can still screenshot them or if it's post text, you can still copy/paste even with the right click disabled. If someone really wants to pass on info they have access to on your forum to someone else they will find a way.

btw I am assuming you have the "send topics to friends" option disabled too in case they are doing it that way?
