Now if you have a forum 1.1.9 are you able to switch over to like 2.0 beta?
How? because a lot of the domain sites I get don't have that option.

Yep,if you want,you can upgrade your site from 1.1.9 to 2.x

You should use the large upgrade pack

First of all backup all your ftp and database and extract the zip file to your forum directory , run upgrade.php and follow the upgrade instructions,but i'd suggest you to wait until the final version is released

okay thanks, but i can always make a test forum i'm able to make one then one of these. so i could see if it actually works if it doesn't then i could come back. but i don't wanna make this solved yet. uh what's the rc-1-1 like what's the difference?

RC1-1 is the most current release candidate.  The -1 was added when the security patch was released.
