Hello , If you are getting

"The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF."

The fix is
1) Download the package .
2) Extract it .
3) Find and edit "package-info.xml" with note pad ++ or notpad .
4) Search for and replace he following

For 1.1.12 users:-
Search for

Code Select Expand

<install for="1.1.5,1.1.6,1.1.7,1.1.8,1.1.9,1.1.10,1.1.11">

Replace with :

Code Select Expand

<install for="1.1.5,1.1.6,1.1.7,1.1.8,1.1.9,1.1.10,1.1.11,1.1.12">

For 2.0 RC4 users :-
Search for

Code Select Expand

<install for="2.0 RC3">
Replace with

Code Select Expand

<install for="2.0 RC3,2.0 RC4">

Next save the files
Pack it in zip format and install .

Go to admin > Boards>Under Off-spotlight in front of NoComic Zone click> modify > Find Moderators> and remove all the names from the box .

any compatibility issues that will mess anything up? anyone know?

i was able to install it on 2.0 RC5 by following the method i mentioned above and all seems to be fine except:

1) the pre-installation test failed for #3 on load.php

2) there's no option to "uninstall" it from the package manager after installation

those two reasons concern me for my forum's future so i manually restored the entire forum from an earlier backup. now i want to know if it's ok that it failed that pre-installation test and also how can i include an uninstaller for the package manager?
