Turn Off Image Verification In PM's

IS there a permission to turn off image verification in PM's. If so where is it and is it wise to turn it off.

SMF will only require a user to pass the Visual verification when they're new to the community, It's just another anti-spam measure, after a few posts have been made, there wouldn't show up again.

As [n3rve] says it is generally best to leave it on. However you can adjust the settings in Admin area > Security and Moderation > Anti-Spam.

As some spam bots can now understand the verification images you may want to switch it off and use one of the alternative anti-spam mods from the mod site.

How many posts does a user need to make before it turns off ??

Please check out the settings in Admin > Security and moderation > Anti-Spam, as said before.
