is there a mod that searches for the boards?

I have a forum with lots of boards. Much too many. There are so many boards that a member has to search for appropriate board/child board for posting.
Regular search does not search the 'board names'. it only searches for user content. is there a mod that searches for the boards?

No, but then if you have that many I'd argue restructuring is probably in order anyway.

Please can I have a link to your site? I may be able to suggest a better structure for people to use without needing to change any code at all.

Well, when the forum's up, please let me know a link and I'll take a look. But generally, if you have so many boards that you have to search to find the right one, you probably have too many.

Even board with 1m posts or more don't have more than a hundred or so boards, all carefully arranged in categories.
