Good theme IchBin. :D

I really love those rounded input text boxes. Really adds a nice feel to the theme.

This is a marvelous looking theme. I love so much about it.

I have one question though - my forums use the questions on registration to weed out bots and I didn't see that they appeared on your theme.

I'm not very knowledgeable but if there were something I could do to make that happen, I could do that. Do you have any suggestions?

IchBin™

Thank you for the compliments!

If you can show me which mod you're talking about, I can try to figure out if there's something that needs to be done to make it show in this theme. Also, let me know which version of SMF you're using too. Thanks.

Hello !!  :)

It's not a modification. It's part of SMF 2.0 RC2.

When you are in the administration panel, under "Configuration" and then under "Security and Moderation", there is an "Anti-Spam" option where you can set the visual confirmation and activate the option of requiring an answer to a defined question.

It's the questions/answers that aren't showing up when using the theme.

Thanks so much for your time!

Ah, well I would have known it wasn't a mod if you mentioned SMF2. :D

This theme shouldn't have any problems with this. I'm wondering if you have a problem with your language setting or something. Are you using UTF8? Can I see a link to your site? Have you checked the default theme to see if this problem still exists?

No problem. :)

My site is http://www.acrossthenexus.com/forums/

It only happens on the installed themes (yours is not the only one).

I do not recall if I am using UTF8. If so, should this be shut off?  If so, how would I do that if I am using UTF8?

Thanks so much for your time! :)

We have a new problem. I deleted the theme when it wasn't working the way I thought it would and when I just went to reinstall it and apply it to my forums, I get this message: Unable to load the 'main_above' template.

Not sure what's going on.

I have it installed on 2 forums .. neither is working. One is a fresh install (never had it before) and yet is throwing back the same error.

http://redstaruniverse.com/forums/index.php (this was the fresh install - currently has a different theme applied/working fine)

Thanks.

There could be a problem with the zip file that I uploaded to the site. I only have access to my Mac here while I'm out of town, so I can't rezip it at the moment. You can do one of two things.
1. Unzip the file on your desktop and upload and replace the files in your theme folder. OR...
2. You can unzip it on your computer, then zip it backup again it should be fine to install it agian.

The reason you're getting the unable to load template error is because the theme didn't install right. If you look at the files they are probably 0kb in size. Following #1 above will fix this problem.

There is an issue with this theme and Ajax chat, shouts made by members show their names completely off place...

IchBin™

Not much I can do about that unless you can show me what it is. I don't have that chat installed so I can't test it. Can you show a link?

Here it is dude, as you can see, if members try to shout something, their names get completely off! :(

I tested it, and it's only with this theme (very nice work though! Looks nice)

edit:
btw you might need a refresh in order to see shouts.

IchBin™

Ah, that would be because the shout mod you're using uses the same name of class that my stylesheet does for part of it's layout. If you go into the style.css file on about line 55 you'll find the .user class. Rename it to .myuser. Then go into the index.template.php file and search for <ul class="user">
and change it to be class="myuser".

Although, it looks like you may have removed that code so it may not be necessary to change it in the index.template.php if you have removed it.

That should fix the shoutbox layout problem.

Thanks for the compliment on the theme.
