WYSIWYG editor is slow

If I type any more than ~35 WPM, it misses keystrokes.  Only happens here, only with WYSIWYG.

Is this a bug, or just a means of torturing me?  :P

I have no problem with typing more than 35 words per minute in Firefox 3.5.

If you mean IE6, then gtfo :P

IIRC, WYSIWYG is one of the bigger pain in the rear-ends on the list for 2.0 bugs

Anyways it would eb nice to see it work in other GOOD web browsers.

IE 5.5 ftw! :P

No, I use IE8 mainly.  I refuse to use FF or Chrome for various reasons.

I confirm IE8 is slow in wysiwyg and none.

I don't get the issue in quick reply or other textareas, so IMO its got to be related to some of our JS.

I have same issue here, I check my connection and its just fine, dunno where`s to look..

This issue appears to have returned.  Happens most often on the space bar, so most likely something to do with distinguishing words.
