Would it be possible to duplicate this feature of Yuku's messageboards? When posting, members can access the photos on their Photobucket account as shown below:

In the above shot I am replying to a post and have clicked the 'Photobucket' button (the one that's a camera) and all the photos and folders in my Photobucket are shown. Clicking on a folder shows the photos in that folder, clicking a photo inserts it into the post.

The Photobucket account to be used is set up in the users' account settings; the Photobucket account name and password are required but once entered it is there until removed by a user.

There would be no permission issues as anyone who can post could use this mod. (I could not see a 'Can post images' permission.)

I asked Photobucket if this would be possible for SMF and got the reply:
You can install the media plug-in (http://photobucket.com/mediaplugin) so when a user is posting the user could also log into their Photobucket account via the Media Plug-in.  There isn't a "single source" login using the Media Plug-in though. The user must log into both their Photobucket and their message board accounts. If you wanted, you could also write your own plug-in using the Photobucket API to link Photobucket and SMF.

See our documentation for both the API and the Media Plug-in at: http://photobucket.com/developer/documentation.

Which is beyond my understanding  ::)

I think this would be a really cool mod as it makes posting images incredibly user-friendly. We now have photo competitions solely because it is now so easy for even the most technophobe user to post their efforts.

Thanks for reading, I would welcome any questions or comments  :)
