Hi everyone. 

I paid for Charter Membership on October 3rd [Saturday] and I checked my transaction history.  It claims I paid 55$ CDN (I understand...it said 49.95 USD, so it converted) - It got paid on Oct 03, 2009.  How much longer do I wait until I get assigned to this member group?

I heard that I have to wait 7 days before I get Charter downloads, but does that mean I have to wait 7 days before I get assigned to the member group as well?

Yigal (edited to remove your name and email address) has sent you an eCheck payment of $49.95 USD.
It usually takes about 6-8 days for you to receive the money (estimated: 10/13/2009-10/15/2009). We recommend that you wait until the money arrives before shipping items. We'll email you when this eCheck payment has been deposited into your account.

The subscription system in SMF won't make the appropriate changes until the funds are actually in the PayPal account. 

Your Charter Membership group will be set up automatically when the e-check clears.  PayPal needs to actually receive those funds before the SMF software will make those changes.

e-checks take longer to process and PayPal notifies us once it has cleared.

Did you even read the paypal help page on e-checks?

When you send money with an eCheck from a U.S. bank account, the transaction is held as pending for 3-4 business days, until the electronic funds transfer clears your bank. From a Canadian bank account, the transaction is held as pending for 7-8 business days.
