Has anyone tried this out yet?  WHat can you tell us about the way it works?  Installation?  What is the benefit of using this?

There is a demo - http://smf-media.com/facebook/

Works pretty well from what I have seen. It ports over your login data and the ability to sync your friends from facebook.

Things it lacks, is it doesn't bring over things like your profile picture and info.

I have an alumni forum with SMF 1.1.10.  I also am a FB member and have perhaps 400 friends from my HS that have not registered on the alumni site for whatever reason.  From what I am reading, this mod would enable them to one click and be signed linked up with the SMF site as new members.  As easy as joing a FB application.  Is this right?

I just purchased and installed the mod.  How do I access it?  What should I look for on our site, or at FB?  It could probably use a better set of instructions.

Look to there support site for general information/questions. I don't use the mod so I wouldn't know. ;)

I assume its like any other mod that can be installed through the package manager. If your using a custom theme you may need to do some manual edits.

As ever with any such mods, please contact the author in the first instance. smf-media.com (I believe) is the author of this and would be able to help you best.

Dragooon

As Arantor pointed out, you can contact me over at http://smf-media.com.
