Subforums on multiple forums

Will it be possible to have subforums on multiple forums? Because I have several groups of members. Each group has its own forum and between these groups there has to be a 'communication forum', just with 1 other group. So, it would be very good if I could use subforums, so that you cannot see the 'communication forums' on the boardindex.

I read that, and was instantly confused.  It'd help a lot if you used terminology I'm used to, like "boards" and "child boards". (or "sub boards" if you really want, although imho that doesn't make logical sense.)

The gist I get is that you want this, but I'm VERY unsure:
  - Board A
    - Board D
  - Board B
    - Board D
  - Board C
    - Board D

Not currently, you could just have a link to it in the description, though, couldn't you?

That's true, but then, the users cannot see if there are new posts in this forum, so they have to click on it...

Well, I already plan to make a redirection board (and topic) mod when SMF is done... in fact here's my little list:
