I am having an issue that I have never run into before.  When I run the upgrade utility it freezes when it gets to the part about updating the language files.  It freezes then goes to a blank screen.

Now the forum is operational for the most part, but I am unable to "install" a mod.  I can DL'd it but when I install it I get an error as it says it took over 30 seconds in the sources folder.  I can't get any previous mods to work either.

Can someone help me?

Thanks!

Delete everything on the server except attachments and Settings.php then upload a new 2.0 RC2 upgrade package and execute the upgrade.php script via the browser.

Do I use a fresh RC2 "install" package or a large "upgrade" package?

I have not done it yet.  The board I am doing this to is a busy consumer board (not in my siggy) and I have not gotten the approval yet to take it offline.

I will report back as soon as I do though.  I plan on doing it this evening.

As ever - back up everything first (both database and files)

Looks like you're trying to use a 1.1.x theme on 2.0, which won't work without some refitting of the theme code.

You can access your forum through http://www.collectorsexposed.com/forum2/index.php?theme=1 and reset the theme to use the default while you refit the theme properly for 2.0.

It doesn't upgrade your theme though. Nor your mods.

OK I did what you said.  It seems to be working now!
