Summary
Effectively Remove SMF Logo is the most effective way to remove the SMF Logo from your forum! It not only removes the SMF Logo from the template, but it also goes behind the scenes and removes the CSS for the logo, as well as the image itself! So all traces of the logo are gone! This mod is only available SMF 2.0 (RC2, RC3, & RC4).

This also allows for a Site Slogan to still be shown.

This mod works very well. The only problem is that it's left a ton of blank white space between my banner and the navigation buttons below it. How do I get rid of this excess space?

I can't see why people use a mod to remove the smf logo why don't they just delete the logo from the ftp and replace it with this which is simple.

There's too much space between the banner and the menu buttons for my liking. I've been able to reduce some of that space but not all of it.  I'd like the banner to sit about 25 pixels above the menu buttons.

A working version for SMF 1.1.x would be equally awesome. Please consider it as well.

It should be already compatible with RC4 using Version Emulate; although I have not reviewed the edits, it should be.

Again, we plan on updating all of our mods as soon as 2.0 hits final.

First of all, it's been very clearly stated that this particular mod will not be back ported to the 1.1 series, for personal reasons, that I will not discuss right now. Although there is another remove SMF Logo mod for the 1.1 series.
