SA Facebook Integration

Actually i have installed the Facebook Like v.2.0 mod but it's not working.
What may be the issue?

This is a different mod... So we have no idea. You should ask in the support thread for THAT mod.

Blame Facebook, not this mod....   Facebook changed their security protocols and require app approval and acceptance. There is very little that this mod, or any other, can do about it.

I understand, I hate facebook and I use it rarely, but it is something alot of people use and I wanted to make it a par of my forum, thanks for your reply, and Im sorry I had it backwards, shouldve known it was facebooks fault.

i want to add comment and like box in aeva media gallery
i ant to add these boxes in items..
i added :                             call_facebook_hook('show_facebook_comments',array('http://www.amigozone.com/index.php?action=media','10','970','light'));


for comments but it posts as a comment on gallery home.. what address should i add so that it can show comment/like at the item and not the main gallery...

i have tried this  :  ' . $galurl . 'sa=item;in=' . $id . '
not working

Publish is in display.template.php it hardcoded i will change that in the next version

Connect with Facebook is an image in facebookHooks.php

I really like this mod and appreciate the work done. Will now start running it on my forum and will see how it affects usage.

As a suggestion if xfbml (I think this is the correct name) would be used (as already done for the like function) for Connect with Facebook and comment/publish that would help with translation etc as they are done automatically when adding the correct language for the different buttons

adding that comment box goes well beyond what this mod is or does... I suggest that you ask in the coding or help wanted section - most especially since you are trying to add the code to a different mod.

I can't seem to locate anything about the new Javascript SDK that was supposed to be released by Facebook on the 20'th of July, 2011 (3 days ago). Last time I saw any news about it, it was on Facebook's developer blog over 2 weeks ago. As I understand it, this is one of the things that was going to be updated in the new SA FB Integration mod.

Any idea how that is going?. I love this mod and am anxiously awaiting it's release as rev 24 has some issues.

Not complaining or being impatient at all. Just wondering, that's all

First of all, thank you for all your hard work and for a really good mod!. Your efforts are appreciated and I am looking forward to installing this latest version (rev32). I just wanted to ask though, before installing this new version do I have to...

1) Disassociate/unsync All Facebook Users?
2) Get a new Facebook Access Token?
3) Change or get a new Facebook Application ID, Application Key or Application Secret?
4) Delete tables or other data from the MySQL database?.


Or is it safe to simply just uninstall the old version (rev24) and install the new one (rev32)?.

Finally, if it is necessary to unsync all FB users, will any wall posts or other data be lost?.

Thanks for the reply. I hate to say it but just like rev21, the new version I just installed (rev32) has rendered the Ajax chat room and shout box completely unusable (it's all white and I can't see anyone or type anything). Any suggestions?. I have really been looking forward to this . The forum uses SMF 2.0 final and the default Curve theme. When I installed rev32, I installed it on the Curve theme...should I have installed it on the Core theme as well?.

Also noticed that when clicking on the "Facebook" link in my profile, I get...

Fatal error: Uncaught OAuthException: (#803) Some of the aliases you requested do not exist: 1.00000761815E 14 thrown in /xxxxxx/xxxxxxx/public_html/facebookauth/base_facebook.php on line 1012

By the way, what was that code for anyway (just curious) and will I not be able to use certain features because I removed it?.
