hmmmm... he appears to be running smf 1.1.x, has removed the smf version and the copyrights for the any mod that he has installed including the gallery, arcade, staff page, Knowledge Base and facebook mods...

can you tell me where should I make the changes to make the mod working with specific characters (UTF-8). I have made changes in Facebook.template.php (4 replacements), but it still doesn't fix the problem with serbian letters.

Guys, i installed the mod and created a facebook app, i put the app id and secret in the mod. But when someone clicks on facebook loging it says error please try again latter, or the uri doesnt belong to the application. So what do i do now?

How can i i post status on behalf of those who accepted on the terms? And is it possible that when a user press allow the app will post a link on his wall like ''Donn is ____ on darforums''

you have to resetup the publisher now re run thru the auth proses but eneter you fb page id first other wise it wont work correct

Do we still use the App Id and the Application Secret on the configuration page?

I also did the grant permissions and put my Fanpage Id in, and thats the only thing on the page, nothing is in the access tokens.  Is that right?  when I click to grant permission, it just clicks over the my forum index.

I did a test post, but it did not post on my fan page   Argh... frustrating!

Yea I am throughly lost and confused on fixing this.  Can we can an updated how to guide.  The one you link to in the first post, is soooo outdated and I can't even make anything out on that.  I loved this app, but I can't do anything with it and I dont know where to start or what to do.

My set up is as it is indicated in your tutorial.  Have the app namespace in there.  Set to my website.

On the Configuration page I have entered the App ID and the Secret Password.  On the Publisher page I have entered the "Fan Pages" ID.  Saved.  Then hit Grant permission.  I get a pop up that ask to grant, I hit ok, it refreshes the page and I am taken to the board index.  Thats it.  Nothing has changed, and my posts still doesn't publish to FB.  If I go to the Publisher page again, the only thing listed there is my fanpage Id #

What am I missing?

hmmm try removing $_SESSION['is_admin_action'] = false; from sources/facebook/facebookadmin.php

Have you updated the the settings for language on the Facebook control page in SMF. I had to change that for Swedish.
Believe Serbian is  SR_SP. This fixes the locale settings.

Also, I have not tried rev49 yet but had problems on earlier revisions. Think SA implemented them for later revisions but I have not checked rev49 yet and the code has been changed dramatically

I have done some tests and for me, the function  were the local swedish characters do not work is "publish" (all other functions seems to work)

This is a similar problem to the one I had before on Rev 3x but instead of blanks, other characters are replacing swedish characters.

So the original sentence:

Tråden där vi drägglar på grymma vinkällare

is in Facebook converted to

Tråden där vi drägglar på grymma vinkällare

Its seems like the conversation is done through some sort of stream converter (and changed from rev3X). Perhaps SA, you could point out were this conversation for the "Publish" function is made so I could start some digging.
